Lost or Found? is Fimo R. Mitchell's first novel. He completed the book during his second stay in China, where he worked as an English teacher.Mitchell was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. At a young age the media world in particular journalism caught his attention. In high school, he began to volunteer as a sports reporter for CKUT 90.3 fm. Mitchell received his Bachelors in Communication Studies and Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University. He has written for several community newspapers and other publications. Mitchell has also interned at CFCF 12 in Montreal and an ABC affiliate in Washington D.C.
This 28 year-old son of an African American father and African Canadian mother is committed to introducing the literary world to the various mindsets of young black North Americans. Next summer, Mitchell will release his second novel titled Ai. The book centers around Rashard, a young black man, who's teaching English in China and Xi Xi, a traditional Chinese girl, who's supposed to marry a rich businessman. The two find themselves immersed in a romance that has deadly consequences. With Ai, Mitchell introduces the reader to a modern China that serves as the backdrop to a love story filled with passion, determination and triumph.
